On the go, that's Wayne. He's eleven years old, in the fifth grade and
like so many other boys his age, he loves sports.
|
|
He told me he was a little nervous about being on camera but ended up
warming up and being very comfortable. He started out riding his bike.
But that was just the first sport of the day.
|
|
|
"I want to skateboard now. No, I want to rollerblade."
"Okay"
|
"I guess that helmet gets a lot of use."
"Yeah"
|
|
|
"Between skateboarding and rollerblading and riding your bike."
|
|
Pretty tough to find a sport Wayne doesn't enjoy.
|
|
|
"I like to sled"
|
|
"Have you gone to one of those tubing parks?"
|
|
|
"Yeah, I like those."
|
|
Wayne has siblings that he sees periodically and would like a family
that would allow him to keep seeing them. When i asked him what else a
family means to him, he said it would be great to have a family that
likes to snowboard and he would like a dog someday. But most important.

"A dad, that's about all."
|
|
If you have a lot of energy and would enjoy an eleven year old with a
great sense of humor and a contagious laugh, Wayne is ready to hit the
trail or the slopes with you.
