Rochester, NH police ask for help to solve a string of robberies
ROCHESTER, NH (WGME) -- Four knife-point robberies at convenience stores in a month and now a barber shop has been robbed.
Now Rochester, NH police are asking for help.
The robbery happened at Lou’s Barber Shop on River Street around 7:30 Tuesday night.
Police say a man walked into the shop, went up to the cash register and started taking money.
They say when the barber asked the suspect what he was doing; the man turned around and pulled a knife of the barber.
The suspect in the barber shop robbery is described as a white male in his early twenties with a dark complexion, dark hair, and clean shaven and between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-8 tall.
In the convenience store robberies, the suspect was described as wearing a blue Adidas hooded sweatshirt and carrying a black hunting knife.
Police are offering a 500 dollar reward for information on the convenience store robberies.
