Police seek 2 more in Biddeford slayings

BIDDEFORD, Maine (AP) -- Police say they are looking for two other men to question in connection with a weekend shooting inside a Biddeford apartment that left two people dead.

Investigators say two men and two women were inside the Western Avenue apartment at the time of the shootings at about 7 p.m. Sunday, but then fled the area.

Police have located the four people and plan to interview them. Maine State Police said Tuesday that police are looking for 44-year-old Lance Palmer of Auburn and 28-year-old Christopher Dube of Dover, New Hampshire, for questioning. They say Palmer is considered armed and dangerous. An arrest warrant has been issued for Dube on an unrelated probation violation.

The victims were identified as 37-year-old Jeffrey Lude of Biddeford and 42-year-old Russell Lavoie of Old Orchard Beach.
