UPDATE: restaurant worker critical after explosion

OGUNQUIT (WGME) -- A man injured in an explosion is clinging to life. The blast covered picnic tables with shards of glass just minutes before opening.

Two employees are hospitalized with burns on their legs and CBS 13 News learned Tuesday night that one of them, Christopher Graham, is having breathing problems and is in critical condition at Maine Medical Center.

The explosion happened at Captain's Catch on Route 1 in Ogunquit just before the lunch rush. Investigators say the workers tried to light a stove when built-up gas set off an explosion.

The blast sent shards of glass flying onto tables, the ground and the road.

Rescuers showed up and found the injured victims in the parking lot. The other employee who was hurt, Allison Soucier, is out of the hospital and recovering at home.
