NH man in officer-involved shooting shot 3 times

ROCHESTER, N.H. (WGME) -- A Rochester, New Hampshire man, killed after an officer-involved shooting at his home, died from three gunshot wounds, according to autopsy results.

Officials say Ben Shannon, 35, was shot in the arms and torso after three probation officers and a sheriff's duty tried to serve him an arrest warrant for violating probation.

Shannon was treated at the scene and taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland where he later died.

Shannon was out on parole, accused of an armed robbery at a convenience store last month.

The New Hampshire Attorney's General Office is investigating.
