BELFAST (WGME) -- A Belfast woman faces charges after police say she tried to hit an officer with her car. Police say 34-year-old Deanna Lenfest lost her temper while waiting in line at a credit union drive-through Saturday Morning.

Police say Lenfest was upset because she needed money to buy diapers for her child and felt the teller wasnt moving quickly. They say she got out of her car, walked up to the tellers window, interrupted a transaction and yelled at the teller.

Police say when they responded Lenfest tried to hit an officer with her car, struck the cruiser and drove away. She was later located and charged.
