Forecasting the weather is a lot of fun. And now News 13 wants to share that awesome experience with kids in our communities! Each week News 13 features a different student from area schools who presents the weather forecast right from our studio. This weather report takes place live during our Daybreak show with the help of Meteorologist Sarah Long.

Our Weather Kids are picked through a nomination process by teachers and principals in Maine and New Hampshire. Then we randomly choose from among these nominations every week to give a student this chance of a lifetime! If you are a teacher or a principal in our viewing area and you know of a child who lives and breathes the science of weather, send us your nomination today!

How to enter your student:

1. You can send a postcard with your name, phone number, e-mail address and school along with the name of the student you are nominating, their age and grade level to:
