Settlement Approved Over Racy Prison Photos Of Pamela Smart
A federal judge has approved a settlement, ending a prison lawsuit filed by Pamela Smart.
She's serving a life sentence after being convicted back in 1991 for enlisting her teenage boyfriend to kill her husband. Smart claimed she was treated unfairly by New York prison officials after racy photographs of her in her prison cell appeared in the National Enquirer. Smart claims the photos were taken by a guard who sexually assaulted her. The court approved a nearly 24-thousand dollar payment to smart from the state of New York.
