L.L. Bean Closing Congress Street Store
L.L. Bean is shutting down its business on Congress Street in Portland. The company says the outlet will close next September. A spokesperson for the company says it no longer makes good business sense to keep the outlet open. L.L. Bean hopes to find other internal positions for its fourteen outlet employees, so they will not be laid off.
