Police: Drunk Driver Hits Child
Police say a teenager was critically injured after being hit by a car Wednesday evening.
The accident happened at 11 Hunter Rd. around 5:30.
Police say a fourteen year old boy was crossing the road when he got hit by a car driven by John Fortier of Lewiston.
The boy's identity if not being released. But police say he is at the MMC in critical condition and his injuries are life threatening.
Police say Fortier was arrested on the scene for operating under the influence and he has since been released on bail.
Crews are on the scene reconstructing the accident.
