Comment: No, but I don't see it happening here, plus anyone who gets the swine flue will be fine because of the great health care here in America. But, my question is where does the government get off telling us (the American people) where we can and can not go? Welcome to the USSA. from Westbrook by Matt

Comment: Maine has excellent medical professionals who are capable of meeting the challenge of the swine flu. If we follow the advise from the CDC and go to a doctor at the on set of any flu symptoms we should be in good shape. from Falmouth by Michelle

Comment: Nobody can be prepared for the uncertain.... from Buxton, Maine by Laurie

Comment: Yes, Maine Public Health system and MEMA have worked hard to prepare everyone on every level to be prepared for a pandemic. There have been numerous presentations, table top exercises and other events designed to make sure people know what to do. Now its up to the people of Maine. Remeber to wash you hands well and often, this is the biggest single thing people can do. Also cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing. from Topham by M.
