Comment: It should all come back the Goverment should go after it and AIG should get no more bail out money from Lewiston, Maine by Brian
Comment: i think it should be all returned for we the people of the unuted states are struggling enough to make ends meet and yet the rich keep getting richer and the poor get to be homeless because we dont make enough to get by and yet someome can walk away with a million dollar bonus thats fair what about the stimulus payment that was going to help thats right its comes out of our paychecks each week now thats really fair for people was looking forward for that money anyways give all the money back and give it to people that really need it but that will never happen and we need chang as they said the only change i see is that we are broke and the rich are more richer so how does that work i might have to go work for aig to make a living for as a disabled vet i get nothing and no help from sanford maine by Robert
Comment: No! At some point there should be criminal or civil prosecutions. What they did was not only immoral and irresponsible, but I have to believe that laws were broken in the process. They make Bernie Madhoff look like a two bit crook by comparison, and should join him in the pen. from Turner, ME by Gary
Comment: No! that is not enough. All of the money should be returned. To enclude every penny the government gave AIG. The tax payers of this country are being taken full advantage of by this administration. We need to have another Tea Party! from Westbrook by Matt

Comment: They should be required to return every cent of those bonuses. A company begging for money from the US Government should NO be giving bonuses to anyone. from Union, ME by Carleton
Comment: i want it ALL back, with interest from oxford by dave
Comment: Why should they get bonuses when the rest of us work just as hard and didn't receive anything like they did. It's complete greed taking over and it's sad that this is what our country is made of. People are losing their jobs left and right and these employees won't give back cash that can go to the people who really need it. It's a huge disappointment for Americans. from Boothbay, ME by Jennifer
Comment: No, they should have returned it all, its being greedy. They should have done the right thing but instead lined their little greedy pockets. While I struggle to pay my mortgage on a small home those fools live in giant three floor homes that have heated garages. It just isnt fair. from Windham, ME by Barry
Comment: return it, or prepare them to be flogged. typical of some to be gimme, gimme, gimme. while the rest suffer. from Casco by Rick

Comment: None of it is theirs to have. from Wells by Concerned
Comment: More than enough. Congress gave it with no strings attached. Now they point fingers? Our elected officials are to blame not the AIG employees. They may not be deserving, but that's for another day. from Scarborough by Tim
Comment: Ummm, let me think about this one!! NO!!! There are starving people, cold people, no jobs, and stores are shutting down left and right....do I think that is enough for them to have a good time on our account...NO!! Comment: It's only peanuts. It should all be returned. EVERY PENNY!! from OOB Maine by Gerroldine
Comment: its all orwe should remove the security guards and let the public take over from buxton by gary
Comment: They shouldn't be able to keep any of that money at all. How is it fair that the money they got was money to "stimulate" the economy be given as bonus's to ppl who already have big salaries? All that shows is greed on the part of AIG. If they wanted to "stimulate" the economy they would have dumped it into the ppl of america that have to work hard for their needs. That would have "stimulated" the economy because ppl would have been payin off homes and gettin things that they needed. from Gorham, ME by Jessica
Comment: They should give all of it back. Why do they deserve $115 million in bonuses when their company was driven into the ground and needed the government to give them OUR tax dollars to bring them back up? How is that fair giving our hard earned tax dollars to someone who has already earned well into the six figure mark? IF they were going to give those bonuses we should have taken that money and put it somewhere else, like health care, or VA benefits, someplace that would put the money to good use, not just line their employees pockets a little thicker... from Standish by Stacy B
Comment: An employee receives a bonus for achieving goals. AIG lost billions upon billions of dollars. So, unless their bonus' were based on attendance. I don't think that anyone should receive a bonus. from Biddeford by Chuck
Comment: Just watched your story on Goddard Hospital cutting wages. My own company cut our wages 5% after withholding our 3% cost of living increase. All in violation of our "Contract" why is it OK for corporations to withhold contracted pay from the little guys but the big wigs, the ones that cause the problems, don't make the sacrifice from South Paris by Stephen
Comment: Great for the ones, that decided, that they felt ashamed enough, that they should return what they really didn't earn. Like someone said earlier, it's like returning part of stolen property. I also think, that all of these people, that make so much money, for doing so little, when there are millions of blue collar workers busting their rears, and still have a hard time. Just think, if these people wern't so greedy, there probably wouldn't be so much of a deficit, or even so many people without jobs. Bussinesses would have more to offer to even more employees; and because the average person is just happy to have a job. That much money would have helped over a million of struggling families! Zanetta Westbrook from Westbrook by Zanetta
Comment: they should return every pennie we have hard times as it is trying to get buy and not fall behind. and their is no places that help you. when u think your doing good you fall right back in the hole. from biddeford by crystal
