On Thursday, Senator Susan Collins took a minute on the senate floor to share a story about her friend and colleague. She said quote, “Olympia went over to this destitute man, on crutches with one leg and she not only handed him some money but she took the time to talk with him. And I think that tells you so much about Olympia Snowe is .”
Olympia Snowe's final day in office officially will be January 3rd, that's the day that Angus King will be sworn in to replace her and Susan Collins will become Maine's Senior Senator.
