The event's mascot is a smiling pig, nothing even close to the Olympic motto. And with events like mud runs, a wife carrying contest, there's nothing here that resembles anything that is taking place in London. Nevertheless the Olympic Committee is threatening organizers with a lawsuit.
Brooks says the U.S. Olympic Committee told him the word Olympics was there's to use and nobody else’s. Organizers changed the name to Redneck "Blank" but he says the Olympic committee is threatening legal action again.
Brooks says he has no intentions of changing anything else. Representatives with the U.S. Olympic Committee were not available to talk to us. Brooks says it all boils down to a battle between big guy versus little guy.
Redneck Olympic organizers say there not sure if the Olympic Committee will pursue legal action against them but they say they are ready. They also say as of right now, the games will go on.
