It happened at 8:18 a.m. at the bank on Market Street. A female driver told police that she thought the car was in reverse and when she stepped on the gas it went forward into the ATM door of the bank. Neither the female driver nor her male passenger were injured and no one was using the ATM at the time.
There was some front end damage to the car and the ATM door was part of the frame sustained significant damage. The accident is still under investigation but no charges are expected.
