State Police say family members went to check on a relative on friendship road, which is also known as Route 220. Inside they found 34-year-old Norman Benner dead from a gunshot wound and 25-year-old Arlene Lawless, who lives at the home, severely injured.
State Police are not saying who the shooter was, but they do say nobody outside the home is under investigation. Jeremy McPhee owns and lives in the house. He was not injured.
