The Vice President spoke at this plant which is planning to add another 400 jobs thanks to a partnership of two companies and the local community college. He says "Students here are going to take classes in aeronautics, aircraft design, advanced manufacturing. So they're going to be ready to step directly into the good jobs when they graduate."
Biden also talked about America's auto industry, which lost 400-thousand jobs, now coming back. He says "As they come out of bankruptcy, we've now hired back 167-thousand auto workers." He also introduced the audience to a new word, "insourcing", talking about thousands of jobs in several industries now returning to America. Biden says "It's one of a thousand little pieces that says "Come home America ... And folks, I think we're coming back."
Biden also says "Everyone on that floor knows the American people are angry. Biden says the choice will be a clear one come November. He says the republican presidential hopefuls are promoting tax cuts for the wealthy, deregulating Wall Street and a return to the Bush administration policies. He says "The logic of the republican argument about how to maintain a middle class and generate economic growth has been shown to be wrong."
