It's called the Yellow Dot Program and it’s the first of its kind here in Maine. It is designed to help people and first responders in the event of a car accident. The program provides a yellow dot folder that contains a driver’s photo and critical information that first responders would need to know about the drivers medical condition.
The folders could be used for drivers and their passengers and the yellow sticker on the rear window of the car would tell first responders the folders are in the vehicle. Gorham Police are taking the program all across Cumberland County. It kicks off October 13th.
