Human remains found off coast of Kennebunkport

KENNEBUNKPORT (WGME) -- Police say they found human remains off the coast of Cape Porpoise in Kennebunkport, and are investigating whether the remains are those of two boating students who have been missing since December.

Prescott Wright and Zachary Wells disappeared just before Christmas. They were students at a boat-building school in Arundel. They haven't been seen since, and the case in their disappearance remains open.

Kennebunkport Police say someone found the remains while out walking their dog on Sunday afternoon. It's believe storm surge from this weekend's blizzard might have brought the remains to shore.
