Portland Police looking for purse-snatcher
PORTLAND (WGME) -- Portland Police are looking for someone they say has tried to steal the purses from at least five people in the street over the last few days.
The suspect is described as riding a bicycle erratically, and bumping into women in a way that is meant to appear like an accident.
Police are warning women to watch how they carry their purse when walking down the street, and to watch out for the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male with an average build, with shoulder-length hair and dark clothing.
