KENNEBUNK (WGME) -- With the Kennebunk prostitution case getting national attention, people who teach and do Zumba in Kennebunk are looking for a fresh start. They say they've heard all the jokes and want to remind everyone what Zumba is really about.
More than a dozen instructors and about 50 people who go to the classes got together Sunday to remind the community about the benefits of the fitness program. Zumba instructor Judy Stark says they saw a drop in numbers after the scandal broke, but are hoping to see a change with the new year.
Judy Stark, Zumba instructor: "If we keep showing the positive side and keep that out in the world, that's what's going to make the difference."
The Zumba-thon also raised money to help out the Center for Grieving Children.
