Biddeford (WGME) -- The investigation continues in Biddeford after the bodies of two people were taken out of a home on Sokokis Road after a three-hour standoff. Sunday morning, police identified the victims as 19-year-old Derrick Thompson and his girlfriend, Alivia Welch.
Police say the couple's landlord, 74-year-old James Pak shot and killed them at 17 Sokokis Road Saturday evening. According to a news release from Maine State Police, Pak also shot Thompson's mother, 44-year-old Susan Johnson. She was the one who called police.
After several hours of negotiating, Pak surrendered to police around 10 o'clock Saturday night.
A 6-year-old boy was home at the time, but investigators say he was removed from the home and was not injured.
Pak is being held at the York County Jail.
State police say autopsies on Thompson and Welch could be conducted Sunday.
