A family is laid to rest after a fire ripped through their Orrington home, killing 4 people including three children.
Services were held in Bangor today for Ben Johnson, his sons Ben and Ryan and daughter Leslie. All four were killed when their home caught fire last weekend. The children's mother, Christine Johnson, is the only survivor.
Authorities say when they arrived to the scene, Christine Johnson was on the roof of the house, screaming for help. She was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and has been released.
Investigators say pizza boxes left too close to a burning wood stove ignited and led to the house catching fire.
People across northern Maine have shown their support for the family, including a spaghetti supper Saturday night in Orrington.
A fund has also been set up for the family.
