Annual Italian Street Bazaar
Friday, August 15 to Sunday, August 17 (Check online schedule)

Now celebrating its 90th year, the Italian Street Festival welcomes everyone to come enjoy traditional pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, and desserts such as cannoli or limoncello cake. In addition to food, there will be a road race, games, raffles, and cash prizes. All proceeds from the bazaar benefit St. Peter’s Church.

Great Falls Balloon Festival
Friday, August 15 to Sunday, August 17 (6 a.m. – 9 p.m.)

Whether you want to watch from the ground or take a wild ride into the sky, the Great Falls Balloon Festival offers something for every guest. Balloon rides happen throughout the weekend, during the morning and night, and should be reserved soon as they fill up quickly. There will also be lots of vendors, live music, and local foods available.

8th Annual Brunswick Outdoor Art Festival
Saturday, August 16 (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

Designed to celebrate and foster an appreciation of the arts in downtown Brunswick, this annual outdoor art festival sees more than 100 artists’ booths descend upon the Mall. In addition to art of all kinds, the festival features interactive demos by artisans, live music, theatrical and dance performances, face painting, and so much more.

The Clash Bash & BBQ
Saturday, August 16 (4 p.m. – 9 p.m.)

What’s a Clash Bash? It’s part BBQ, part beer launch, and part cover band battle, all on the beautiful seaside location of Thompson’s Point. Various local bands will compete to perform the best covers of famous songs, and Shipyard Brewing Company will launch their seasonal Pumpkinhead beer at the event. Attendants are encouraged to bring their own chair for optimum relaxation.

Sunday, August 17 (7:30 p.m.)

As if you needed a reason to not go into the ocean, Mensk is bringing home a whopper by screening Jaws on the Eastern Promenade. So you can watch the horror unfold while glancing at the wide-open blue beyond. This is the last film in the Mensk Summer Film Series, so come early and grab a spot up close to the screen. Food trucks will be available for mid-movie snacking.
